Do You Know Of Any Older Adults, Eg, 60 Going Back To School For Physician Assistant?

I am thinking about changing careers. Right now I am a teacher but would like to go back to school and become a physician assistant. I have 26 years of nursing and would like to concentrate on the geriactric population. Really need to know if there are older adults, my age, that would tackle physician assistant school.

You may want to talk to some physicians about their feelings about hiring older NEW workers in the field. They might like it, because they will get more stability, or they may feel that younger workers are easier to order around! I know of a lot of older adults who have gone back to school, but rarely does anyone that age go back for something leading to such specific employment.
