If you’re so concerned at having nothing to do that you have to come ONTO the net to ask for ideas AND THEN post your question under Community Service, why don’t you go into your local park with a plastic bag and a pooper-scooper and clear up all the dog’s mess which will have accrued over the weekend

There’s loads to do in London depends what you’re into really. Museums, join a gym, parks, with the religion and yoga I doubt you’re into pubbing and clubbing but there’s plenty of those. Theater amateur and pro, libraries, jogging, art galleries, tv(?), shopping, check the time on a day out in greenwich, Kew gardens, Tower of london, walk over the top of tower bridge, pop into your local library and check events for your area. Failing that you can always surf the net!

yoga? so take up meditation maybe? if your not sure how to go about it, there are so many classes on in and around London, Triyoga in London does them, as do many other places- buy a copy of Time out and they- and many other things, are listed there.
Take up a college course- then your free time will be spent studying.
Visit the galleries and museums in London, go to the lectures they run, learn more stuff- many places have free lectures, some need you to be a friend of th museum or pay fees to attend, either way it is something to do.
Go to concerts, gigs or clubs, not that exiting if your not so into the musi, but its not the net! Also try west end shows- you can get tickets cheaper on the day if you visit some of the kiosks selling tickets- theres a big one in leicster square where all the tickets that haven’t sold can be bought there at a cheaper rate then would be normal.
take up a sport- go to the gym and do classes there- if yu find a good gym with people you get on with, it can actually be quite good to do- a good way of meeting people. Or join a running or cycling club. There is also a London Scate which happens every sunday and friday I think where you roller blade accross London, not sure how often they happen but could be worth checking out.
Top tip for things to do in London? visit Timeout’s website or pick up the mag itself where its just basicly full of listings of things to do in London.
Or you can just watch the tv.

How about doing something really worthwhile and volunteer your time to a good cause?
Many charities in London need help.
The British Red Cross has volunteering opportunities where you can:
    * help refugee and asylum seekers adjust to their new home
    * spend your time helping less able people, such as the elderly, get around or just give them some company
    * become an emergency response volunteer who help out when there’s an emergency like a flood or fire.
    * help families who have been torn apart my conflict find each other again by becoming a tracing volunteer.
Just some ideas of some of the amazing things you could do!

Get out, get some fresh air, stretch your legs…….go for an educational, cultural walk for free.
Its well worth getting to know the areas of London that will be hosting the games in 2012. You wouldn’t necessarily associate Newham and Stratford with walking but the area lends itself brilliantly to a meander through the various environments of The Royal Docks, Green Street, Three Mills and the waterside wonder of the Thames. You can take in architecture, history, a fantastic meal in one of the many restaurants near the Excel conference centre and take the kids to Discover on Stratford High Street.

Use your yoga skills and make peace with the internet. It is a tool that can be used for both good and evil. It is an extension of yourself. But to answer your question:
“Do or don’t do. There is no try.”

You are asking this question on the net! I go on a cleaning spree when I want too keep away from this darn thing, or go walking in the parks. London is full of things to do like that
